Who is The Web Agent?

TWA was established by Del Maxwell in 2001 in New Hampshire. It was mainly a web design and promotion outfit. I also worked as a subcontractor for other agencies located in Massachusetts and NH. I gained dozens of clients those first few years. Then I began offering technical services in 2004. Since then, I've developed many custom applications for sites including: product label printing system, complex relational searches, news aggregation, connecting real estate sellers to buyers, MSDS document retrieval system, financial calculators, sales funnels and more.

Fast Forward to today, and I have relocated to southern Maine about 20 miles from Portland. I still provide freelance creative, technical and marketing services to many of my original clients from Mass. Sometimes we even get together for meetings. Now, these towns are local to Kennebunkport:

Do you provide technical services?

Sure I do. I make innovative, secure and rock solid solutions. I combine databases and APIs with PHP / MySQL, JavaScript, CSS and HTML code to make really cool components, widgets, admins and other apps. If you have an idea you'd like to pursue, I'll spec out the details and provide you with an estimate. Specifications provide all the details of the components and other aspects of your project. This is done so you know exactly what you're getting and how much it will cost. If you already have a PHP website and need help with maintenance, updates, error repair, new features or anything else, I'm happy to work on someone else's code.

How much will this cost?

The price depends mostly on the layout quality, the complexity of the features in your site and the overall size. I do my best to keep costs affordable. The average project ends up costing about $3,500 but some have been as low as $1,000 and others as high as $60K for large and complex data based apps. Most likely, your site will be somewhere between $2,000 and $4,000. I provide free estimates so give me a call or shoot me a text to let me know what you need to have done. What about after my project is done?

I keep a close eye on anything that I recently complete. I look for problems and monitor what's working well. I am always available to maintain and update your site if you need. I bill by the hour and send out invoices once per month. Is your site running on a system like WordPress? If so, you will need to keep WP and all its plug-ins updated monthly. It's also important to run a backup everyday. I can make all that happen for a low monthly fee.

Why aren't there any pages in this site?

I don't have a bunch of pages to bore you with. This is just a simple web page to advertise my company's services. There's no reason for me to blah blah blah about the inner workings of website development for you to read here. There are plenty of educational sites where you can do that. To be clear, The Web Agent is a business, not a school. I also don't write articles to post on the Internet in order to show off and get Google points. And I don't really market myself much on social media either. I find it annoying. Besides, I just don't have time because I'm usually working on something. And I'm not interested in spending my nights making videos and posts about the work that I just did all day. No thanks, I'd rather play my guitar or go fishing.
